The Yeti's really annoy me. It would be nice to not have to listen to roars.

I recommended this in Sardelac a few days ago. Nice feature, but gets old fast. I, too, would like to see an options box to disable tonic sounds, if ANet intends to continue this trend with tonics. The people with the tonics are happy, the people not having to listen to them are happier. ANet set this trend and should consider everyone, whenever possible.

It's got to the point where any time I'm in a town I have to take off my headphones.

There should just be a check box to turn off extraneous sounds (tonics, party shit, etc.).

Why should we turn off everything down just because of one or two idiots that got lucky/have too much cash? It's like building yourself sound-proof house because someone outside of the window is shouting.

/signed for A. Remove tonic sounds entirely (after the initial use of course).

Otherwise- too much trouble to implement additional checkboxes anywhere tbh.

The sounds from the minipets were removed after Gaile had a gathering and almost everyone and their mini turned up.. = lots of noise.. Next update mini noises in towns were removed.

This REALLY NEEDS to happen for tonics now.

Just remove the sound, or make it 'local' so ONLY the tonic user hear it on his own computer.

They did the same thing with minipets about two years back. May as well invoke the same solution with tonics.

Best bit of reasoning I've seen so far.

An option to turn off eroneous sounds would be a fine feature. Or maybe they could recode the tonics not to make sound but every one to two minutes. However i realy dont see the need to have sound on while in towns. All that you hear is music. If ANET bends into this like they did with the mini pets, then we will see more /reports and QQ threads about ghost in a box, fireworks in GH, snowman summoners, and anything else that annoys people. But hey, reading the QQ on the forums, i think, is what keeps us all coming back here, so whatever.

I vote for complete removal of ALL sounds from ALL tonics.

Also, if Anet could do an update where Yeti tonic is removed from game, I'd be happy bunny.

It's annoying and obnoxious, especially with how people spam emotes with it. Sorry, but people shouldn't have to turn their sound off while playing because others want to be idiots.

Or make it like the crate of fireworks, where the sounds only work in your Guild Hall.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!

instead of removing the sound completely or having the option to remove the sound completely, how about putting a 30 second timer on its noise?

you can sit all you like but it will only make the sound every 30 seconds
